Two Worlds Oil on canvas 2007 50cm x 70cm (19.75" x 27.5") A symbolic self-portrait: the seagull represents the artist, in Shamanic flight between Babbacombe in Torquay and Avebury in Wiltshire. One of the seagull's feet rests on an Avebury Megalith, as if "connecting" with its spirit. Zoomorphic shapes manifest themselves, whilst a waterfall to the left of the composition cascades into the sea. The composition is such that the landscape fits around the seagull, emphasising the links for the artist between Devon and Wiltshire. £325 o.n.o.
