Shamanic Trance Oil on MDF 40cm x 30cm (15.75" x 11.75") An Avebury Megalith stands in the centre of the composition. It becomes almost part of the background, as if having become liquified. A "zig-zag" pattern at the bottom of the composition suggests being in a trance-like state, which Shamans of the Neolithic era would have (in theory) deliberately induced, in order that they might interact with the "interworld", or travel to spiritual realms. £95
